'A Guide to Black Cockatoos as Pet & Aviary Birds' by Neville & Enid Conners from Australian Birdkeeper Publications.

Galah Pair

Cockatoos housed at Kimani Aviaries include Galahs(Normal and Lutno) , Major Mitchells, Western Long-billed Corellas including the endangered Muir's Corella (Cacatua pastinator pastinator), Carnaby's White-tailed Black Cockatoo and Naso and Samueli Red-tailed Black Cockatoos. We are registered carers with the DEC (Department of Environment and Conservation) in Western Australia so many of the black Cockatoos housed at Kimani Aviaries are birds that cannot be released because of injuries they have sustained. It is our hope that some of these birds will go on to successfully reproduce in a captive situation.

It is possible to register your interest in obtaining particular birds prior to the start of the breeding season. All birds are close banded and sold with full history and feacal checks are performed before shipping. More extensive health checks can be performed if required.
