Dimensions:

Construction:
Professionally constructed. Moulded fibreglass brooding chamber. Fully insulated. Aluminium framework finished with white powdercoated steel.
Fan-forced:
Fitted with two Fans. Heat circulates evenly throughout the unit without blowing directly on the occupants.
Digital Microprocessor:
Fitted with a digital thermostat (PID Controller)that facilitates extreme accuracy. This dual display unit allows you to program a target temperature and visually monitor the actual temperature. The thermostat automatically adjusts to variations in ambient temperature to maintain the unit at the target level. See "Accessories" for further information. Fitted with fully sealed elements that can be wiped over with disinfectant.
Over-heating Protection :
Has a back up circuit fitted with an alarm to warn of overheating due to thermostat malfunction or if the ambient room temperature exceeds the target temperature. The alarm function can be programmed to individual requirements eg. 1 degree above target temperature. In case of total failure of the microprocessor the Neonate Intensive Care Unit is also fitted with an independent mechanical cut off switch that cuts power to the brooder at 40 degrees Celsius.
Thermometer/Hygrometer:
Supplied with a digital hygrometer.
Humidity:
Supplied with a water trays with several compartments.
Large perspex viewing windows:
Allows for easy monitoring of occupants without disturbance.
Totally Safe Environment::
Occupants are isolated from direct contact with the fan, heating element and water dishes. No exposed edges for occupants to chew on.
Can be totally disinfected:
Quick and simple removal of the electrical panel housing the fan and element facilitates total disinfection of the brooder. There are no cracks and crevices to trap feather dander and faeces, reducing the possibility of contamination from bacteria and viruses.
Warranty:
Twelve months. Because of the ease of removal of the element, fan and the turning motor, in the unlikely event of any parts failure, these can be removed and replaced by post without the entire unit having to be returned. This results in minimal downtime and eliminates costly servicing and freight.
