Kimani Aviaries houses mostly Western Australian Parrots such as true 28 Parrots ( Barnardius zonarius semitorquatus) and true Port Lincolns (Barnadius zonarius zonarius ), Western Redback Rosellas (Platycercus icterotis xanthogenys) as well as Naretha Blue Bonnets (Psephotus haematogaster narethae) and Princess Parrots (Polytelis alexandrae) . South American Sun Conures (Aratinga Solstitialis) and New Guinea Eclectus (Eclectus roratus polychloros) are also kept at Kimani Aviaries. We are breeders not dealers so our birds are top quality and have been personally bred on the premises but we do offer the rare Australian Eclectus (Eclectus roratus macgillivrayi) on behalf of an affliliated aviary. As a result, birds are available on a seasonal basis and at times, numbers of some species may be limited.

We also breed a number of mutations parrots including Cinnamon 28 Parrots and Blue-backed Western Rosellas.

It is possible to register your interest in obtaining particular birds prior to the start of the breeding season. All birds are close banded and sold with full history and health checks if required.
